When water quality or environmental factors such as weed are present, course adjustments are sometimes necessary to ensure participant safety, but we fully appreciate that this does not change the impact this may have had on your experience. We are also very sorry to hear about the physical reaction you describe following the swim and hope you have now fully recovered. We are particularly sorry for the issues you experienced with your timing chip and the subsequent lack of response. This is not the level of service we aim to provide. While timing is managed by a third-party provider, you are absolutely right that you should still have received clear and continued support from us throughout the process. We apologise that this did not happen and that your follow-up communication was not handled appropriately. We will be reviewing this with both the timing company and our internal team to ensure better accountability and responsiveness in future. We also appreciate you travelling all the way from Australia to take part in the event, and we are truly sorry that your experience fell short of what it should have been, particularly in such a special and scenic location. Quelle chance de pouvoir nager tout en admirant le château de Chantilly ! Tout est très bien organisé ! (Petite attention toutefois : bien penser à faire enregistrer la puce à l’arrivée. De mon côté, cela n’avait pas bipé, et j’ai donc perdu une place au classement… mais bon, rien de grave en fin de classement !) Sinon, tout était vraiment génial !!

Départ de l’épreuve de natation avec les pieds dans les herbes et la vase… et beaucoup de végétation aquatique le long du parcours. En revanche, le parcours était bien balisé avec de grosses bouées bien visibles. Le ponton de sortie était un peu dangereux car glissant. Merci aux deux bénévoles pour leur aide afin de sortir de l’eau.

Je garde un excellent souvenir de cette course dans un cadre magnifique. Un grand merci à la kayakiste devant moi que j’ai suivie tout le long du parcours… La médaille et le trophée sont magnifiques !
