I entered last year and after falling ill was forced to shorten my distance, this year I was back to complete the full 50miles. Another fabulous event and everyone is friendly and helpful, It is a brutally hilly course, and seems to only get hillier with each subsequent lap. But the aid stations are fully staffed, and very helpful. The day was very hot and the wet sponges at the middle aid station were fantastic, I love the Big Bear Events and recommend them to anyone interested in running longer distances and even those just looking for nice day out.

I took part in the 50k option with my daughter, it was her first ultra distanced event, we both enjoyed the course and the bonus morale boost of our support team ( wife, son and other daughter) at the end of each lap! Great day out had by all and we intend to return again next y...

Extremely well organised, plenty of info prior to the day and easy to find on the website. Pre race brief was good, course was easy to follow. Marshals and aid station volunteers were the best and a massive help. Well organised, will deffo be back for another event.
