1. I'd like the option of opting out of taking a medal with the idea that the money saved could go to the charity. Whilst first time sportive riders will be proud to receive it as a badge of honour, I don't need another one and feel the money is wasted. Perhaps you can devise a system for saying no on the day to keep costs down/donations up for next time? 2. Out of choice - for overall speed of finishing - I didn't use the feed stations, so hopefully there was more food for other riders, although I did feel that I missed out! Not sure how to resolve that feeling though!

The events are always so well organised. We turn up early morning, tired and full of porridge. Never any confusion of where to go. Feed stations are well stocked, routes well signposted and a nice finishers medal 🏅 This was the first of the year, I am trying to do all the events this year. Wiltshire Classic next!

All race information including arrival procedure parking registration preparation and movement to the start line was fantastic and left nothing to be desired However, the first 30 km of the ride the road surface was in extremely poor conditions with 100 hundreds of unmarked potholes and gravel’s spreads across the full road surface, with each competitor paying circa £40 I think two or three road sweepers the day before the event would have easily cleaned up the roads at a fairly low expense this combined with marking the Meijer potholes would have saved hundreds of punctures, never in my life have I seen so many people on the roadside fixing punches in one race. Having said that after around about the 30 km Mark the road condition improved significantly. It was easily noticeable to all participants that I spoke to immediately after the event. We only saw two or three people fixing punches as opposed to the 60 to 80 we saw in the first 30km. As for defeat station and finishing the event again absolutely fantastic organisation and execution. The meadows were presented to each participant as a cross to finish line which was excellent to see and gave a great feeling of accomplishment. Would I do the event again , absolutely yes , but only if the roads had been addressed. Thank you for a great event.
