It's super steep hills , lots of mud and water. Breathtaking views , fantastic trail , excellent Marshall's and volunteers, parking right by the start/finish. 10/10 and look forward to doing it again

Absolutely loved this brutal run, by far my favourite of the year.  The hills almost killed me and the lake went on forever!

Top quality event run by a small group of people who are clearly passionate about running. This is not managed by a large corporate company looking to make money, it's just a handful of friends who like to see people enjoy themselves.

What a great experience, I am new to trail running and wanted something with no stupid artificial obstacles just natural challenges. The Brutal10 did not disappoint, It's a great mix of Brutal trails, hills, lots of mud and water. Great atmosphere with very friendly people.

great day out the mud was fun and loads of water to get you going throughout. The race team are brilliant and the course is well laid out and very easy to navigate and the are safety marshals all through the course. Would recommend this race to everyone it's great fun....

This was my first ever Brutal Run and it has me wanting to go back for more!

The course itself was definitely 'Brutal' but with distance markers every km, marshalls encouraging everyone on, as well as warning if there was very loose ground on a downhill, and a great sense of camaraderie I couldn't have asked for better. Oh wait, there were also supporters who weren't marshalls just standing in the rain and cold conditions cheering everyone on from around the 7/8km mark - that was brave and appreciated!

With all natural obstacles it brings the entry price down greatly, which is helpful.

The only real issue was watching people struggle to get out of the car park afterwards, not every car was made for a Brutal location it seems.
