I did the half marathon last year in 2018. The expo in autoworld was minimal but in a cool location with all those classic cars around. It was easy to retrieve my race number and you also got a buff. T shirts are included for the full marathon but for the half you have to pay extra if you want one. You can get your race number on the morning of the race if you need to. The half marathon course goes through some interesting parts of the city. It is not crowded so you can run unimpeded. The aid stations were good and the crowds and supporters were great. There is a pretty epic hill next to Woluwe park near the end which will test your stamina but also lots of encouragement. They had a big screen well positioned to show videoed messages of support. Medals were ok, although I preferred the one from 2015 with the cinquantennaire arches on, the 2018 one was quite plain. There was some issue with publishing the full table of results last year. This year this will hopefully be rectified. I will do it again as it's my local half and a good chance to run around the city on closed roads.
