Exmouth 10k was really well organised and was well supported by the local running community despite it being the week before the London Marathon. It’s very easy to get to from the train station or there’s lots of carparking. The course was up and down the sea front a couple of times. If the wind is quiet it has excellent pb potential or would be a great first 10k. The only thing to slow you down is the 4 180degree turns. I had just one minor annoyance from the race was that it was getting busy on the seafront as it was a lovely day so it meant dodging round a few pedestrians and the marshals could have been a little more proactive in keeping the public aware. All in, this is great event In beautiful surroundings. I missed my pb by 30 seconds so to quote that immortal line ‘I’ll be back’!

I've been running for quite a few years, race's have got a lot more expensive but this race is Avg price. It's well organised and clear. Running in the Exmouth seafront is allways a pleasure. Friendly Marshalling. Keep up the good work Dave

What could be improved are the medals, I know there are budget constraints but I personally like a medal made out of metal. I want to feel it weigh on my neck. Wooden finisher medals are cheaper to produce and make a nice reminder of the event but in my opinion a weighty, metalli...
