Really great race, with indoor facilities available pre and post race. The weather is typically a bit wacky but when you have proper washrooms and warm spaces pre and post race, you really can't complain. I mean, the race starts at noon, you can even sleep in! A simple, fairly priced event, raising funds for a great cause. I do this with my family and friends every year, and it's always a great time. Highly recommend!

I really appreciated getting a finisher medal for the race this year! I didn't get one last year (although I did pick up one from a previous year's race) and if I'm running 10 miles in the cold winter I really like to see one. The hail for most of the race sucked and was quit dispiriting, although I'm fully aware the race organizers have no control over the weather it still made me feel quite blue. I think I'll sign up for the 4 mile race next year.

My comments are all related to signage. I think there should be signage in the gym to make a distinction between registering day of versus pre-registration. Also, on the run itself when we were exiting Bayfront Park we followed others who were taking the ramp. Last year we ran back up the same way we went into Bayfront. There were no pylons or wayfinding to indicate which route we were supposed to take to exit which I think would have been helpful.
