The race was fun but I think there should have been a water station half way round. The last 3, 10k races I’ve competed in all had this. 👍

Bowood 10k Fun Run is set in the Bowood Estate and is a one loop course. It's very inclusive as you don't even have to be a runner as participants can walk the route if they wish. It's a multi-terrain off-road course and does have several hills so don't be fooled by anyone describing them as 'undulations'! The scenery is stunning and was enhanced today by the beautiful sunshine we experienced. The route was well marshalled and sign posted. Today I ran in a light trail running shoe which was quite adequate. If I was to make one constructive comment, it would be improved by having a water station at the 5k point. Nothing fancy just some tap water and paper cups. This is the only 10k event I've ever run that hasn't had a water station at the half-way point. It's a charity event run by Calne Rotary so profits go to worthwhile causes. Definitely one to put on my list again for the future. Thank you.
