Another morning well spent at big bear events. This one is a tough one but so beautiful through the bluebell woods. Such a relaxed format - no pressure at all, just like doing a long training run but with the bonus of regular snacks and company from like minded people.

Excellent organisation, very helpful staff and lots of goodies at the station. Really impressed by the friendly nature of the participants, some one said "it's cross country with a picnic" which made me smile. The route was tough in places, but the park is a great venue and the bluebells were looking wonderful. Couldn't have wanted anything better for a first trail run. Thanks to all at the Big Bear team

Another brilliant BB event, beautiful venue. Nice and hilly with some muddy sections but we were warned well in advance what to expect and it didn't disappoint.

This was my first BigBear event and first ever trail run. It was a well planned event, with excellent and friendly emails containing all necessary information for a newbie. The participants, organisers and volunteers were all extremely friendly and a pleasure to be around. The route was well signposted, the aid station well supplied, the bluebells spectacular and the course muddy and hilly but that didn't seem to hamper the enthusiasm. Unfortunately I was forced to finish after 3 laps due to injury but I will definitely be back next year to see how much further I can get. I love the concept of the 6 hour events and would highly recommend BigBear Events to seasoned runners and those new to the sport.
