very friendly local event Good organisation Swim was good. A bit green on the edges but glad a pragmatic approach was taken and it went ahead. Bike was well signed and marshalled Run was fine

Done the Sprint Tri many times previously here and always been pleased with the organisation and event. PMA is a well-established name in triathlon in the Midlands and can be relied on to put on a good event. The Sprint Aquathlon was a British Championship event this year although I’d be happy to do a ‘normal’ Aquathlon in future. Very good and specific information sent out beforehand, always clean facilities in the Sailing Club, and well supported by knowledgeable marshals from Stafford Tri Club. I thoroughly enjoyed the event and the free download photos! Personally I’d rather have a T-shirt than a medal, but know this is another complication with sizes etc. I like the proper age group prizes too 👍 . Water quality wasn’t perhaps as good as before - understandably with the drought conditions - but this is out of the organisers’ control and at least didn’t lead to the swim being cancelled like other high profile events.. Thanks for a great morning!

Great event! This is my 3rd year at this race and I think the team have done a great job at addressing some of the challenges from previous years, such as separating the male and female swim starts with a decent 8 minute delay. This helped greatly! And ensuring the bike racks were suitably spaced. There could be a couple more toilets to reduce queues at the start but other than that it was a brilliant event.

Camping was great being free and right next to transition. The organisation and support was great. I was surprised that you weren’t including 2nd & 3rd age group placings in the prize giving.

Great event at a great location organised by a great team. There is a pinch point on the run route as you join the causeway where you meet runners coming the other way on a single width path! perhaps that could be looked at? Would have liked to see some food and drink vendors on...

Great swim and run course Helpful friendly staff The only negative thing for me was the congestion in the swim , I was in a mass melee for the whole swim so couldn’t get into any kind of rhythm , could the aquabike wave start have been split up in anyway?

So, I chose this race because PMA honour AgeGroup winners and I won! So nice to be recognised when you are in your 60's. A lot of races only recognise the first 3 over the line now - how can I compete with a 30-40yr old! Thank you!

Good all round race. Well organised. Poor road surface quality for bike ride but a nice course . Security into and out of transition could be improved. With no helmet sticker or wrist band with race ID, it would be possible to remove a different bike to the one you entered with.
