This is the 10th time I have done this event and I have seen it go through 3/4 organisers in that time. I hope that SuperTri will get to grips with what is one of the largest triathlons (or used to be) in the UK. A group of us do the event in memory of a friend who died within a year of completing it some years ago, so we a pretty much locked in. However we have always done it on the Sunday and for 2027 we have switched to the Saturday as the numbers are so much lower on the Sunday now. By the end the event is really quiet. The location is stunning and to do it all on closed roads is ideal. As some have said the spectator fees are awful, I know they always bang on about you can look around the house & gardens but my family wouldn't be there if I wasn't doing the event. The discounted rate is better but it's still a lot of money to add onto the event fee for my partner & 2 children to cheer me on. It looks like the problem of the wave allocation will be solved by now choosing a wave when you book on but charging for slots in the morning is a bit rich, especially when the entry fee is already over £100 (even with the early bird pricing). We will continue to attend the event and hope that SuperTri can grow participation but at the prices I can see it will be difficult.

The course itself isn't too bad. The lake is good quality, with a smooth swim. Swim OUT to T1 is LONG. The cycle is a mix of hills, with some fast stretches. And the run is relatively flat and fast with a few inclines. The aesthtic of the event is quite professional with good atmosphere from spectators. HOWEVER, the cost of spectators is unacceptable! There is absolutely no way to justify it at all. I don't buy the rubbish about spectator tickets gives them entry to the house, etc. Most spectatators just want to come and watch their family member. £25 to watch is absurd and is shamefull that the organisors have not pushed to address this. Race pack collection was slow, with those staffing it being slow and only having one or two lanes open for each disipline. Don't get me wrong, it was a good event, that felt professinal, but there are things that leave a bad taste in your mouth, and when you compare to events like T100, Blenheim isn't quite there.

Absolutely terrible that they allowed a first time athlete completing their first triathlon to use a go pro on course. Evidence on Instagram shows them on all 3 disciplines with a go pro. Blenheim Tri say they gave permission to this inexperienced athlete on a technicality difficult bike course. British Tri do not allow any cameras/ go pros. And evidenced BT prioritise an influencer over the safety of other athletes.

Extremely dissapointed with Blenhiem Palace Triathlon. This was my first ever triathlon, on arrival I was given a faulty tracker which I realised when I came to attach it to my ankle at the swim entry. I spoke to a marshall and they gave me a new tracker and assured me that the numbers would be changed over. After completing the triathlon I recieved no results so reached out to their support and was assured that the results would be checked and updated to include my new tracker data. This did not happen and therefore I have no results from the first triathlon I have ever done. I have tried to contact their support team to rectify this numerous times now and have had no response in over 2 weeks. They are ignoring me even though it was their fault I was given a faulty tracker, considering the cost of this event, this is unacceptable. I enjoyed the event itself, however their support team is appalling. I am exceptionally dissapointed to have no results of my first ever triathlon due to poor equiptment provided.

I've raced Blenheim about 4 times now and the story is the same every year - great course but the worst communication and service imaginable. You only get your wave time a few days before the event so good luck organising accommodation / travel in advance. Then zero contact details available if you have any questions. It's all profit and no service with these guys and for almost £100 you'd be right to feel short changed. In 2023 the live athlete tracking was unavailable for many hours and no volunteers / marshals had any information.

This was my second Super Sprint at Blenheim, and I plan to do more, God willing! I am 56 and have 3 herniated discs. Because of this I have to walk instead of run, and I was anxious that I’d be the only walker, and conspicuously be the slowest. Not a bit of it! There are lots of walkers, and people of all ages, abilities and sizes, and it’s organised so well that the serious athletes don’t get in our way and vice versa. And as races are starting throughout the day, there are no obvious winners or….. ahem…. SOB’s (Stiff Old and Broken). Fabulous course and atmosphere, everything great, my only request for next year would be - please bring back the Portaloos!

Competed in Weekend Warrior 2023. Great course, fantastic volunteers and excellent atmosphere the whole weekend. However, there were a number of issues with regards to the Weekend Warrior event: - no communication regarding a free spectator/support crew entry (I emailed in advance with no reply). My partner nearly ended up paying for spectator entry before we realised. - cut off times get earlier each year. - rules changing on the fly, I was told I could complete a final sprint triathlon on Saturday if back to the swim start by 2pm. I was there at 1:50 but at that point was only allowed to do a super sprint. - failure to record one of my triathlons in the results, which is a prettty half arsed spreadsheet. This point alone is the most disappointing.
