Brilliant event! It was really well organised and such a great atmosphere! Lovely cycle route on quiet roads - The bike route was clearly marked and well marshalled. I would highly recommend this event

Great event and beautiful course. A must-do for all athletes beginner to experienced. I understand to prevent bottle necking separate waves help. However, ruins the competition for top places not knowing exactly you are in order.

The attention to detail , consideration for women , great announcements and music, fab atmosphere, loved it thank you so much ! Would be nice to have podium winners and runners up in the Age category as there are so few women , would be a nice encouragement

Very well organised event. The organisers have clearly tried hard to improve from the previous year and it was successful. Lake swim was slightly congested, probably due to the wave start times, but not a real problem. Bike was undulating on fairly rough surfaces, but quiet roads and generally well marked route. Run was uneven grass, so not the best for a PB but well supported and marshalled. Overall a very enjoyable event and would look to return next year.

What a fantastic event for my first Olympic Triathlon! Great communication, fantastic staff and supporters, and a great sense of camaraderie amongst the competitors. All helped me make it through the last hard 3km and finish strong!
