I love Big Feat events - all the runners are unbelievable supportive, as are the marshalls and Chris and Claire (the organisers). The Big Sky marathon route takes you through woods and across heathland - it is truly stunning. I feel blessed to been able to take part. Event photos are really great! Thank you to the photographer - he did a great job. There was a small bottleneck at the very beginning which we were warned about during the safety briefing. Chris and Claire make these trial runs feel really special. Plus the medal is awesome! It's a cupless event, and sponsored by Precision Fuel (both gels and electrolytes were freely available at the aid stations - I really like them and was grateful to have access to them on the day).

Toilets along the course are an absolute must imo. One toilet over 50K isn't enough and lets down what is a great event, run by great people.
