Stunning route, amazing marshals and such a brilliant race company. Highly recommend all of their races. This one along the coast is one of my favourites though.

Signage on the last beach mile could be improved. It was explained during the pre race briefing but later on, when the beach was full of people, it looked very different and not obvious where to go. A wonderful event in a stunning location. Variable scenery and terrain, from the flats of Studland Bay and Newton Heath, up to the sweeping ridges of the Purbeck Way, and of course the mighty coast path, Big Sea has it all. The signage was exemplary, the route easy to follow even in the few potentially confusing locations. The aid stations came at just the right time, and now they have Precision Hydration I can bank on my hydration strategy. The volunteers and marshals were awesome as usual, and Chris and Claire are just wonderful organisers; the briefings are always fun but serious, and the personal welcome when you cross the finish line is genuinely meaningful.
