Another great event at a fantastic venue. Campfire was fun from start to finish. Camping for two nights, running two days, what great fun! As ever, organisation was spot on, facilities were great. It felt like a proper festival of running. Just a couple of small gripes. Signage at times was a bit thin on the ground so you really had to logic it out in the absence of an arrow. Also, a bit surprised there was no water at the finish to drink, only sponges in a big bucket. Lastly, whilst Mill Farm is pretty much the best race venue I’ve ever experienced, they know how to charge for food and drink. Overall however, I really recommend this weekend as it has a distance for everyone. Even kids!

A beautiful course over glorious terrain. Small and friendly and very well signed. Will definitely be attending again.

A lovely friendly low key race in a beautiful country side setting. All the marshalls on route and support crew at the race start/finish were so encouraging and really friendly. It's a very hilly and challenging trail run, which was thankfully very well signposted, some of the paths were very rural and quite overgrown so without the good signage I would have questioned that I had gone the right way. There was plenty of water and well stocked full aid stations on route. There's camping available on for the race weekend with portable wash rooms.shower unit and toilet trailer with sinks behind the farmhouse. Unfortunately there wasn't any hot water in the showers and a cold shower wasn't what I needed after a hard hot race. Also there wasn't any electricity in the wash rooms so the lights didn't work when needed at night. But other than these couple of issues, it was a very well organised, friendly scenic race and one I would do again.

Really pleasant and fun course, and very well marked throughout the entire 50k. Nice relaxed atmosphere at the HQ and during the race.

Another excellent event, everyone is so friendly the folks at the first (and second) station had such infectious energy. The course was well marked, some arrows were ambiguous but I had the gpx. Didn't really enjoy the uphill mountain ledge trot to aid station three, this is a me thing. Was glad to finish and nice there were some people still there, as we were some of the final finishers. Looking forward to September to complete the series.

Well organised event with timely and informative email communications leading up to the race. Easy access to site and check in was smooth. The course was challenging but fair. There were points in the race where the signposting could have been clearer and there were a number of runners saying that they’d gone the wrong way. Thankfully, I had the map preloaded on my watch which very much helped with navigating the race. The finishers medal was a nice one. There was a limited choice of any other pre race food that I’d expect to get, for free, at the end of the race (bags of crisps only). All in, an enjoyable, well organised event.
