I loved this 6 hour race idea. I set myself a half marathon target (my first!) & ended up doing about 4km over! It gives you the flexibility to take your time & challenge yourself in such a beautiful environment by the reseviour, through the woodlands & into the meadows. The course was lovely & flat, even though it was cold it wasn't very muddy, and lots of refreshments were available to warm up after! Really easy parking & you pass the toilets on every lap. Im definitely considering signing up again (maybe a marathon target?). I also opted to plant a tree rather than have a medal which I thought was a wonderful idea!

Stunning Autumnal setting at DCP! I loved the format of do as much or as little as you like within the 6 hours. Both Paul, his team of awesome volunteers and the fellow runners were so friendly and supportive. Just love the Big Bear family

Fantastic event. All pre race info was spot on and Big Bear events were extremely responsive to any questions. Excellent event day and I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking of taking part.

This was my favourite Big Bear Event so far. The course was really beautiful - the autum colours were stunning and the conditions were perfect.
Eveyone was friendly and helpful and, as ever, the medal was superb and the aid station was incredible. Thanks for another great event, see you in 2022!

Excellently organised event with super friendly organisers and fellow participants.
Daventry is a lovely setting for a lapper event and looked stunning on race day.
Bonus of allowing my dog to run with me was the icing on the cake!

My first and definitely not my last Big Bear Events, Paul and the volunteer team super friendly and encouraging. Love the no pressure format of doing as little or as many loops, beautiful location with a mix of terrain and super well organised. Oh and the flapjack.....just wow!!! Thank you Big Bear Events!!

We can't take any credit for the flapjack... but love it too!! I'm so happy you smashed your goal and enjoyed the event. You were smiling all day which given you were running all day too is no small thing!! Hopefully see you again in 2022.
Great venue, lovely scenery and variety. Short segment of the route had newly laid coarse stone which was a little hard to run on.

The section in the meadow had only been laid about 6 weeks previously so just needs to settle in a little. It's better than the mudfest that was there before though!!! Thanks for the review and hope to see you again in 2022.
