La ruta es algo demandante con una pendiente pequeña pero continua, lo cual te va mermando la energia durante la carrera pero fue un gran experiencia, con una cerveza al final de la carrera. Keep running!

Goodybag for the race only included Bib and Shirt. Race was well organized and the course had a good demarcation. I ran 5K but my watch only showed 4.9Km therefore not sure if it was my watch or where the finish line was setup.

Delayed start due to construction in the course. Another race taking place close by- so we had to run through their course. Poor directional signs on the course. Limited age group awards and poor prizes. Lack of food at the finish. Overall- not a great event or race course.

Big Texas 5k was my first ever race and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought everything was extremely organized from bib pick up to actual race day which made the event comfortable to be able to just focus on running. This event seems to be very popular so there were a ton of peopl...

Big Texas 5k was my first ever race and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought everything was extremely organized from bib pick up to actual race day which made the event comfortable to be able to just focus on running. This event seems to be very popular so there were a ton of people which gave off a very energetic vibe to the race which I liked. The only minor issue was how narrow the run lanes were which congested the beginning parts of the race when trying to either navigate through runners or trying to create a lane for the faster runners behind you trying to pass. I look forward to participating again next year!

I communicated with the coordinators before signing up to ask if I would be able to change my tank for a T-shirt and was told I could. The day of the event I was told that women have to take the tank and did not have a T-shirt option. I don't wear tanks :( and probably would not ...

The race itself was fine but for the price this race was not a great deal. There was a breast cancer race around the corner that had breakfast for its participants. Also, there was only one water stop per lap which made it difficult for participants that did not bring their own water anticipating there would be more water stops. Women needed to have the option to get a shirt that had sleeves for modesty purposes. Finally the announcer kept mentioning tacos! There was no tacos at the finish line anywhere. Just expensive lemonade you had to purchase.

Was great course , I would just recommend have second photographer, a lot of multiple pics of the same people with 3-4 pictures .. was disappointed not to have one taken… also have a picture gallery where you can filter with bib numbers
