Brilliantly organised race. Registration pre-event, pre-race communications and picking up race number on day were all excellent. Route was brilliantly marked, marshals out on the course and at the finish line were fantastic, organisers were lovely, informative and helpful, good race brief. The whole event was great. And I really like that I the organisers give you the choice when registering not to have a medal but choose to have a tree planted instead - much better than a piece of metal that I'll never look at sitting in a box. I've only given the local support as 3 stars as it was a night race, a little bit cold on the day so there was hardly anyone around, but that's no reflection on the event itself, that's perfectly normal compared to other night races I've done. Can't fault anything with this race, I really enjoyed it.

My first night trail race, it was really good fun. It was really well signposted with glow in the dark signs, essentially impossible to get lost, I didn`t need to look at the gpx file once. The marshalls were really friendly and helpful. The course was really muddy in places, I ideally needed deeper lugs. There were a few hills, but it was all runnable (15 mile course). I would definately do a night run again and I would recommend other to give it a try]. It was a solid training run for the Southanmpton Half Marathon in 2 weeks time.

Big Feat Events have some amazing races and events. This was my third race under The Big Feat banner and it didn’t disappoint. Having raced Big Night Out 1, I was intrigued to see how event 2 would differ. Amazing organisation at the start and really friendly Marshals. The course was interesting due to the prior rain but it was easy to navigate. The true hero’s were the marshals who spent their Saturday night out in some pretty horrible muddy conditions. I Will be back for Big Night Out 3 (fingers crossed).

Outstanding night run, quite challenging terrain and muddy on the night, proper x country. Loved it and running at night makes for a special experience, especially seeing lots of eyes reflected in the dark and hearing owls. Best run for a very long time, thanks very much.
