Absolutely brilliant half marathon. A great route throughout the whole city, lots of support and music throughout, and overall, a really good atmosphere. All volunteers/staff were excellent. Logistics were good, no issues or queues at the bag drop-off or pick-up. A bit congested at the start but not too bad at all. Worth it for having a bigger crowd of runners adding to the atmosphere. The expo looked good but not really of interest to me personally. Would've preferred to just get my bib number posted out to be honest. Would highly recommend.

As a whole, a great event with an amazing turn out. A huge negative for me was the lack of organisation in relation to the toilets at Ormeau Park. At one stage, there were 4 different queues for the 1 set of toilets. There was no organisation or system and in the end the majority of people were heading towards the bushes just so they’d make the start line. It needs major improvement.

Enjoyed this one as it was my first time running it. Few bad points unfortunately, it seemed way too crowded at the start line, would definitely suggest waves or start pens like at Antrim Coast. This made for a slow start although that didn't annoy me too much what came next wasn't great. As we entered Ormeau park it was much too congested and narrow, with people stopping at the puddles (We were already wet), this made it a bit dangerous and I seen a few people fall on a few occasions. The wet weather obviously not the fault of the organisers, but as runners we needed our wits about us for the first couple of miles. Once we opened up it made for a great run despite the weather and the support along the route was fantastic even in the pouring rain. I loved Victoria park and at the Grosvenor Road junction with the Falls road after the up hill, race was very well supported. Water stations were brilliant and a good mix up with the energy drink stations in between, only thing was the amount of plastic waste left, a few extra bins would maybe have helped with this along the route. The finish (I know I complained about this at the start) into Ormeau park I really enjoyed. By this stage the crowds had spaced out and running through that park was very enjoyable with the crowds at the finish line. Id maybe suggest to rope the route off as walkers were on it at this stage, didn't bother me but I did think the path should be clear for the event runners only. All in all I really had a great time and would do again despite the dodgy beginning, maybe that will change for next year but I would definitely enter this one again

Pack collection poorly organised too long queuing for a stingy pack - giving the fact you have many sponsors. ordered a large tee shirt was more medium than large, when I asked if it could be changed I was refused say that there wasn’t enough and they are a small fitting. Total rip off. Won’t be a returning mug. I suggest you go over to Newcastle and see how GNR is run and maybe learn a thing or two.

First time doing Belfast Half Marathon and it was a wet one! Overall enjoyed the run and would recommend. Would be helpful if numbers were posted out rather than having to go to an Expo for a half marathon. Start line was chaotic and herded in like cattle. Will probably return though!

I really enjoyed the race and thought on the whole it was well organised. I have two complaints however, firstly not enough toilets at the start and secondly the amount of plastic wastage from the water bottles. Was it really necessary to provide such la he plastic bottles of which most people only had a sip?
