This is a fantastic location for a trail run, with the bluebells all out this year and not as much mud as usual! It can be a little tight on the paths with the rough terrain, but the organisation and marshals were absolutely excellent. Nice medal (and a part of a 3-race collecta...

This is a friendly event organised by the local running club and a great little introduction to off-road running.

The information provided beforehand is clear, and when you arrive there is plenty of free parking on the land adjacent to the race HQ. There is an adequate provision of portaloos and Beaconsfield rugby club to shelter in if the weather is little chilly while waiting for the start of the race.

At the appointed time, runners are invited to walk from the rugby club building, across the road and to line up at the road that leads into the Hall Barn Estate. The running route winds across fields and through the wooded areas of the estate, with marshals at every turn to guide you.

The medal is always a lovely design and refreshments are available afterwards. A good event - so nice, I've run it twice :-)

Loved this event. It was a challenging 5 mile route with mixed terrain fields gravel paths and beautiful woods with the bonus of bluebell's. Well organised friendly Marshall's and a great medal.

Well organised and briefed, lovely surroundings and a great introductory trail race. Very muddy in places, but with good trail shoes this isn't an issue. The marshals were very encouraging and the organisers and other runners very friendly.

A great course in beautiful surroundings, in area not open to the public normally, makes this is a fantastic race! Due to the time of year, it can be wet so be prepared for a lot of mud!
