I really enjoyed this event, which was novel, relatively cheap entry and had a friendly atmosphere. The race day information was sent by email relatively late, and was a little confusing due to the number of event distances and wave starts happening on one day. Due to inclement weather, there were some changes/updates that were sent by email in advance, such as a reduction in the festival atmosphere at the start/finish. The most significant change was that an alternative 'hilly' route was unavailable, which meant that there were a lot more people running on the same out-and-back course. The turnaround point at the halfway point was incredibly muddy, which made that bottleneck worse and probably impacted my race time by 2-3 minutes.

Another great event from Relish Running. Great to benchmark your times as its the same course each time Love the uniqueness of the tunnels, does take your eyes a little while to get used to the darkness but that really adds to the run. Do like having a park and ride for the runners. No goody bag but thats no problem and an enironmentally friendly wooden medal. Only criticism is around the toilets. Not enough and the urinals needed a modesty screen around them. Having said that we will be back.

First time doing Relish Running’s Two Tunnels race, part of a series with seperate but interlocking medals if you do all 4 - various distances available. The race is small and friendly, set off in small waves of 40ish runners each. Baggage and registration is next to the start/finish and amazing post race snack table!! Starts and finishes on grass but its only a short stint until you’re on cycle paths and into the tunnels themselves. Lovely scenery when you’re outside of old railway bridges. In the tunnels is fun, slightly disorientating as you have no reference for gradient which is slightly down/up depending on whether you’re on the out or on your way back.

This was the first time i ran this race. I wanted to do it because of the chance to see parts of the city of Bath you nomaly wouldn't. Once you pick your numer up you are put in to waves of a 100 runners for safety reasons as once you get to the tunnels you Have the wave before you running back to the finish. On the start line you get a quick warm up and chat on wot to do.. You have a start on the grass of a 100 meters before you get on to the old railway line. . It is now one of the main bike track to bath and Somerset with manly tarmac.. There two tunnels you head for like in he name. The first one comes just after 1k, it's not to long around 400 meters. You come out in to some lovely woods before the next tunnel which is a lot longer with a bend in it. When you come out the other end this is where you find the water Station and 5k .Mark. All you got to do then is return the way you came ,the finish has a small hill of 50 meters not to bad. You get given your medal and water and goodies chocolate heather things.. All in all a very well run and enjoyable friendly race. I do it again.😁

First time doing this race Very unique course which allows for a fast time There were two downsides today, one comical, one safety Comical; the gents urinal stand was positioned in full view of the line for the toilets...!! Safety; it was very wet today and IMO they should have switched the start / finish so you ran down the path and up the lethal steps, not down them... Apart from that a good event, logistics good, well organised, nice warm up

Parking is easy as there are Buses laid on from the Park and Ride...all for £3 return. I recommend entering this event if you have not already done so. Relish Running organise the events and have several series with various distances through the year.

This is my 4th venture to the Bath Two Tunnels race, organised by Relish Running. And as always, a great event was put on. Tom and his team do a great job, from ore race info to registration to the event theough to post race treats. Yum! And results processing. Its all so very well run. I love the tunnels. There is something so unique about them and challenging too. Marshals were awesome as always and thank you for giving up your time. Cant say itll be my last time at this, or any of Relish Running’s events. In fact i may need to squeeze another in later this year. Watch this space. Do not hesitate to book yourself onto one of these events. You’ll not regret it (hence my 4th appearance here and 5th racing with this company).

Well worth having a go at these runs from Relish, the tunnels add a really unique experience into the run. They are well organised and marshalled and although not totally flat they are definately a PB course.

wow....i am new to running after completing the couch to 5k last year. I really enjoyed the Bath Two Tunnels, you park your vehicle at the park and ride, get on the bus and then you walk about 200metres where the event is.

The event is well organised, very friendly and good support from the spectators. The best bit has to be running through the tunnels.

Really enjoyed the day and would recommend doing this event.
