Fabulous event held at the most outstanding Baseenthwaite lake. From Registration the day before to crossing the line and ordering a drink at the bar, everybody was upbeat, friendly, supportive and welcoming. The organisation was fabulous. There had been floods affecting the road...

Fabulous event held at the most outstanding Baseenthwaite lake. From Registration the day before to crossing the line and ordering a drink at the bar, everybody was upbeat, friendly, supportive and welcoming. The organisation was fabulous. There had been floods affecting the roads but they had worked hard with the council to provide a safe flow for the bikes where roads were damaged so the bike race was incredibe. Couldnt recommend it more !

my second year competing at this event.  Very well organised and fantastic setting for a tri.  Only one issue but nothing to do with the organisers, the quality of the road on the section from lakes distillery to cockermouth is very poor, county council need to sort it ...
