An event with loads of value. I signed up early to the event and I think it cost me about £10. Run Cheshire do out on really good value events, probably the best I've seen for price. The route itself has a few little hills in it but it's still PB potential. The route is all counted roads, closed for race day. I ran this as part of a 17 miler marathon Training run and so ran the course twice! I'll keep returning to this event as it holds good memories and is super value for money!

A very cold overcast day, nothing Farndon could about that! Good news was the HQ had enough space for runners to take shelter before the race began. Parking was available next to HQ and registration inside was very straight forward. It was a good 10 minute walk to the start line (and also finish line as it was the same point). Race briefing was clear and straightforward too. The course itself was nice, all country lines and sightly hilly at points. Water station was situated at 5k and no issues. A race I’d recommend, very friendly and a decent flapjack too.

A great closed road race through Farndon, which is relatively flat with a couple of hills thrown in for good measure!

The route is scenic and on roads you might not usually be able to run on without traffic.

This is the sister race of the Colshaw Hall 10k earlier in the year so if you run both you’ll find the medals connect together, a nice touch!

This was a very scenic and well organised race. Although there was no unique landscape feature, the course was entirely on pretty country lanes , all of which were closed to traffic. Registration was superb due to efficient officials and a table of iPads where you logged your arrival. The hub of the event was a village sports and social club where, after the race, you could get a massage and watch the winners' prize presentations. The feel of the event was local and friendly despite there being over 600 participants. The start was about half a mile from the parking and I enjoyed walking in a crocodile to the start with everyone else. It was a rainy morning and it was possible for spectators to see the runners off and then wait in the club until it was time to be at the finish line to see us come back in. Hot drinks and some food were available throughout, and the rain-drenched runners could easily get changed into dry clothes afterwards. There were plenty of parking and toilets, as well as free photographs. The goody bag was a drawstring nylon bag containing a chocolate flapjack and the medal; I liked the simplicity of the goodies in return for a lower price than I have paid at other races. I would do this race again.

First time for me, but great little event.

Bit of a walk from car park, but quiet countryside roads and decent local support considering.

Would do again and defo advise others to have ago next yr.

This is a nice local event with a few hundred runners. It's pretty well organised with a bit of a walk to the start line. There is PB potential here and that's exactly what I did in 2016.

Medal is nice and huge! Would definitely consider running this event again.
