Thank you for organising this event. I camped the night before on site and it was clearly cold and very windy so extra thanks to the staff setting up. The set out of the race itself was excellent. The surface to both run and cyclone was also superb, unfortunately at the start in ...

Thank you for organising this event. I camped the night before on site and it was clearly cold and very windy so extra thanks to the staff setting up. The set out of the race itself was excellent. The surface to both run and cyclone was also superb, unfortunately at the start in my event a runner slipped on a cone and took out another Runner who collided with me in a less serious way I hope everyone was okay but some thought to the congestion at the start may be appropriate in the future. All the staff I encountered were very engaging and friendly whilst the overall atmosphere appeared somewhat low-key this is no criticism. I look forward to returning in future years, thanks again for organising it. It’s appreciated.

Great Closed Circuit Event. The layout of the course was brilliant and used the space available optimally. The hairpin turn on the bike could be risky in wetter conditions, but also provides a chance for racing, with skills being used beyond pure power and endurance! Soooo good...

Great Closed Circuit Event. The layout of the course was brilliant and used the space available optimally. The hairpin turn on the bike could be risky in wetter conditions, but also provides a chance for racing, with skills being used beyond pure power and endurance! Soooo good to race on a closed circuit, with a smooth surface for the bike and shorter laps on the run keeping you in the mix of competitors regardless of pace and speed! a note for imporvement/awareness - As a complete newby to Duathlon i entered the "Open Wave" for me and my partner - assuming this was a general "open event for all" so ideal for me and my girlfriend to race together. Seemingly this was a Male Only wave with the "open" referencing age below 50! There was a female only event as well so i prob should have put 2+2 together here....i'll know for next time but prob worth making this extra clear at application stage. Generally an excellent event and i will def be looking to attend next year.

First time for me at Mallory Park venue - it is a great venue for triathlon and duathlon I must say. It's a long old drive form Swansea there and back but manageable. Weather held up nicely for the event. All the staff very friendly and accommodating. Race circuit and signage all...

I was in the first wave therefore it was great to get out on the track to bike. When the second wave hit the bike leg it was a bit more congested and had to be mindful of other riders on both sides of the track but this did not defer from the event. I thought the whole event wa...

I was in the first wave therefore it was great to get out on the track to bike. When the second wave hit the bike leg it was a bit more congested and had to be mindful of other riders on both sides of the track but this did not defer from the event. I thought the whole event was well organised and as always ATW and their volunteers are great. Always encourage you with a smile, i would like to especially thank the lady who was marshalling at the first corner of the run route, she was great when we ran past her and also cheering me on on the bike leg so thank you.

Well organised event as you would expect ATW to provide. Great not to have to worry about traffic. Had to concentrate on counting the number of laps! Course well marked out. Friendly, helpful, welcome at registration.
