A great course, especially for someone not at the front! The ride and run being in a loop a made me feel part of the triathlon as there was always riders and runners around me. Staff and marshals friendly and helpful as always with a ATW event. This was my second time and both times a big event. The two criticisms is the wait to get my documents. You have the chance to get a reduced parking fee which is great. Unfortunately the que is vis the coffee shop and takes a long time. This yearni didn't bother waiting and just paid the full amount.

Good event, well marshalled and a good course. Long queues to drop stuff in transition delayed start time, as there was only one marshal checking people going into transition. Also got stuck behind cars on the climbs, but this is outside of the organisers control. Grafham water is great to swim in, the water is very clear, bike course has 2 major climbs and is uninterrupted excluding a foot down point in the final third. Run Course was good, it was paved for the first 3.5Km along the dam wall and short 1.5K on grass before coming into the finish.

I enjoyed the race but very disappointed there weren’t AG prizes - prizes only for top 3 male & female. The race wasn’t cheap & I would expect at least a small medal or trophy for 1st place in AG. All other triathlons I have been to give these out & I have been doing triathlons f...

I enjoyed the race but very disappointed there weren’t AG prizes - prizes only for top 3 male & female. The race wasn’t cheap & I would expect at least a small medal or trophy for 1st place in AG. All other triathlons I have been to give these out & I have been doing triathlons for 15 years. I didn’t like the run on concrete out of T1 - lots of stones - this could have been swept?

As always, a very well run and good value for money ATW event. This venue was a great location, with the huge lake. Ample parking. Not many loos, but didn't have to queue too long. The swim - whilst I felt safe with the team, it was brutal. You have to wade out the first 50m...

As always, a very well run and good value for money ATW event. This venue was a great location, with the huge lake. Ample parking. Not many loos, but didn't have to queue too long. The swim - whilst I felt safe with the team, it was brutal. You have to wade out the first 50min, through reeds, then there was a nasty breeze on the water which went over your head if you breathed on the wrong side. 2 laps, so had to repeat the wading getting out and back in again. Not fun, but then you can't control the weather. Similar on the bike, a great course, undulating challenge, but a terrible wind the whole way. Otherwise was good and fast. Run, the offroad bit a bit of a slog, but otherwise all good. Thanks to ATW and the team for a "fun" ;) morning out doing tri.
