I’ve done a couple ATW events and unfortunately this one didn’t match up… the swim to start was well marked up and run really well with good help nearby if needed but I had a bad throat and cough for a couple days after which I believe was from the water. On the ride, only saw the safety bike once in my whole 45km ride I saw two of them when I drove in by the roundabout off their bikes talking at the beginning (other racers were out already so I’d have thought they would be out riding supporting) I got a flat tyre had to start walking back as I didn’t have a spare (my own fault admittedly) but didn’t see anyone for help until I was lucky two riders (not to do with the race) stopped to help me I was so grateful. There was no water stations on the bike course which I feel it could have used especially with how hot it was. At the end finish line the “goodies” tables I felt was no where near as good as some I’d been to they had red bull which is a great shout but that was about it the packets on the tables weren’t much so a bit let down not to get a decent few bits after as you do. Over all probably wouldn’t do it again wasn’t up to scratch of the other ATW events I’ve done.

This was my first time competing at St Neots' Triathlon and it did not disappoint. I camped from Friday night in the field next to the event, which was nice and relaxed and not noisy at night. It allowed some extra sleeping time in the morning as the campsite was next to the race venue! The swim was 2 laps of an out and back in the river and the water felt fresh and clean. Then on to the bike course for 2 laps of a fun route with plenty of places to put your foot down. The traffic in St Neots itself was busier than usual, but this was due to a road closure elsewhere pushing traffic through the village, and could not have been foreseen or mitigated by ATW. It's not usually that busy and you could still build up speed during the rest of the course. The run was flat and well sign posted with marshals at all the junctions. As ever, the event had a great atmosphere with an upbeat compere. Several distances of triathlon were on offer from Sprint, to Standard, to 70.3 /Middle distance, as well as a full length triathlon. The changing and lavatory facilities were enough and the feed station and finish drinks and snacks on offer were plentiful as ever. I would thoroughly recommend ATW events. They are good for beginner and more established athletes.

I did the bike leg as part of a relay. The course was beautiful with some smooth roads and the aid station was really well stocked, with super marshals on hand to help!!! Back at HQ there was a festival with live music that was super entertaining while waiting for my teammate to finish his marathon. Would 100% recommend this event/festival to anyone! Such a blast 🎉

Absolutely loved taking part in the ATW first to Full at the weekend! 🏃‍♀️🔥 A huge shoutout to Dani, Phil, jamie , Mike and Joey — you were all absolutely amazing and so helpful throughout. The support and encouragement made such a difference and created such a brilliant atmosphere! The music was fantastic, the course was mapped out perfectly, and the support around the whole course was brilliant. Everything felt so well organised, and there was always something to keep you motivated. Such a great event from start to finish. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be back! 💪🏼❤️

The event itself was an amazing experience for my first full distance. I was however incredibly disappointed that the photographer was no longer at the finish line when we completed the 140.6 miles. Having travelled to the event from away we did not have supporters to take a photo. Assuming there would be a finishing photo we have no such photograph of what may be a one off achievement for me; one which took months of training and dedication. The disappointment was not realised until we scrolled through the photos of other competitors on line once back at our room to discover the photos stopped. By this time it was too late to capture the amazing crossing the finishing line moment.

Overall a solid event. I’d do it again! I was surprised to experience a cyclist behind me shouting "don't stop, don't stop"! As I was approaching a roundabout in very heavy traffic. It impacted my confidence a little and wasn't really in keeping with the spirit of an event where we have to be mindful of being safe, sharing a road , and allowing others to race their way. I understand the traffic conditions were not foreseeable.

I was so grateful that one of the volunteers was driving past and stopped and took me back to the event headquarters. I don't remember her name but thank you so much. This event was brilliant. So well run. I couldn't fault it. I'm going back next year and try and attempt to finish the event.

2nd year doing the full here and it was well organised and a great day to be a part of. Family that came to support said the event village was entertaining with good food and some decent tribute acts which made the day go quicker for them. Swim in the river was enjoyable, clear ...

2nd year doing the full here and it was well organised and a great day to be a part of. Family that came to support said the event village was entertaining with good food and some decent tribute acts which made the day go quicker for them. Swim in the river was enjoyable, clear water. The 45km Bike loop was fast and rolling with a few short step climbs to keep things interesting. 8 laps on the run sounds tough, but means you pass supporters and the event village lots of times which keeps motivation high. Great support from all the marshalls and staff. Great value for money - highly recommend this event.
