The course was terrible. Several u turn, mud and poor Marshalls . Manged to go the wrong way due to poor direction. Never coming back and wouldn't recommend

Hi Dawn I love receiving feedback from events. Both good and bad is useful as we are always looking to improve our events to give the best possible experience to our athletes. We have implemented many changes over the years from athlete suggestions and we continue to do so. However, I do not agree with your review. Our marshals are fantastic! They were on site from 5am, are hard working and I wouldn't change a single one of them. We had 1000 runners on the day and to the best of my knowledge this has been the only report of anyone going the wrong way. 9.8k of the 10k loop was on tarmac and unfortunately after the wettest months on record you are likely to see a bit of mud. I'm sorry that we aren't the event organiser for you and I wish you all the best wherever you choose to run in future. James (Managing Director)
