Excellent event. Lovely course and huge credit to the organisers for getting the race on given the challenging circumstances. Look forward to returning.

This event never disappoints. Well organised as always in difficult circumstances this year, but excellent social distancing and other modifications to ensure safety. A great atmosphere with really friendly marshalls and fellow runners. Great to get back to races and also support a very worthwhile local cause.

Overall the race was a great event, well organised and blessed with sunny weather. My only problem was finding it! I arrived by rail bus replacement from Epsom and no other runners were on the bus (I was hoping to follow one and thus find the event). I got off the bus and the station was absolutely deserted, no one to ask directions. There was no bridge across the tracks as the railway station was shut, and I saw the barrier which was down across the tracks and thought that was obviously not the way (wrong). Then I saw another runner - hurrah! 'Do you know whihc way to the race' I asked. He said he had done it a couple of times and he thought he knew the way, so off we went, in completely the wrong direction. It was now 10:55 and I was due to set off at 11:05, eventually after a number of wrong turns and redirections by people who were nothing to do with the race, we found the start. A sign post at the railway station would have been most helpful!

a lovely offroad 10k, always beautifully organised with a great atmosphere. delighted that it was able to go ahead again this year. there is a long steady hill in the first km and a short steep hill in the 9th km and otherwise it's pretty flat, with about 1/3 of it on grass tracks and 2/3 on more solid compacted gravel surfaces, so it's quite fast for an offroad course unless the weather has been awful; I would say add 5pct to your time for a flat tarmac 10km. Highly recommended.

A lovely run on Ashtead Common. It was a warm morning in 2020 and the undulating course made it hard work but a beautiful place to run. All organisers and marshalls were great and did a fab job to stage a safe race during a global pandemic. I hope to
be back next year!

Superbly organised event with a beautiful scenic course. The first race I have done since lockdown and, although smaller than previous years, there was a good friendly atmosphere. A lot of thought had gone in to making it Covid safe with marshals at the start in PPE and the start done in a series of waves. I will definitely do it again next year.

Ashtead 10K must be the best race in Surrey if only for the atmosphere and the beautiful course across Ashtead common. It is always extremely well organised and friendly. This year, the arrangements made for COVID safety were exemplary, with athletes setting off in a series of smaller groups. It was different but no less fun. The course is undulating with a climb at the start and another after 8.5 kms so it's quite testing and unlikely to yield a PB, but it's not scary either. There's a good cameraderie amongst the runners . It's a 'there and back' course and we're encouraged to wave / salute / give kudos / say hi to runners coming the other way. This was all the more prevalent this year as the later starters saw lots of runners on the way back from earlier start times. All in all, another excellent morning's running and congratulations to the organisers. Definitely my favourite 10K.

A real gem of an event, perfect challange for all abilities and as an out and back course great way encouraging fellow runners. As the turnaround only a five minute walk from the start a clever way for supporters to be there at the beginning, middle and end. This year the challanges were huge to ensure Covid 19 compliance and yet not lose the festival fun. With the enthusiasm of Dr Rob and all his support team and glorious weather all the Trionium team should take a bow, your hard work paid off and it was lovely to feel a part of a sport again. Thank you.
