Relaxed atmosphere, friendly.Good running surface, traffic free. Love the Tissington trail. To improve, I would have the start at the other side of the tunnel. Not keen on running through the tunnel.

One of my favourite events. Plenty of choice for distances. Uphill out but then fast downhill once you’ve turned round to head back to the finish. The different distances and turn round points mean there are plenty of marshals and water stations and plenty of people to say hi to ...

One of my favourite events. Plenty of choice for distances. Uphill out but then fast downhill once you’ve turned round to head back to the finish. The different distances and turn round points mean there are plenty of marshals and water stations and plenty of people to say hi to on the way back! I’ve pb’d here every time. Nothing like a race downhill to the finish. Bonus in 2022 was no lake to wade through at the start! Will definitely return next year.

Great communication before and after the event. Thorougly enjoyed the course, it was well marked and the marshalls were really encouraging and friendly. Really glad this was my first race experience. Would definitely recommend.

I took part in the 10 mile race. It was my first ever race so I didn't really know what to expect. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. I received all the information I needed well in advance plus I hqd to email about potentially switching distance which was flexible. The route is picturesque and a slow incline on way up, I didn't really notice until I turned back and felt alot quicker. Best part was all the support along the way, the volunteers were great cheering us on. Really good to get photos included too. Great experience for my first event, thank you

Absolutely loved this race. The information on the run-up was clear and in good time, race number posted, ample parkingnearby, well organised and superbly marshalled. The course had a slight incline on the out (out and back) and a gentle, and noticeable descent coming back. Did my first negative split! The welcome back under finish was great. The medal is one of the best I have ever had (I have a few!) and the post race info arrived quicker than expected. Would highly recommend if you want to run on lovely route at a nice time if year. Course definitely ha PB potential as long as you don't go off too fast. Running team were friendly and informative. Thank you to all involved👍 Laura

After the flooding in 2020, great to see the course completely dry! Road shoes are fine for this more-or-less flat course - you hardly notice the incline on the outward leg, but definitely appreciate the slight downhill on the return. A small, well-organised and friendly event, ...

Road shoes are fine for this more-or-less flat course - you hardly notice the incline on the outward leg, but definitely appreciate the slight downhill on the return. A small, well-organised and friendly event, great marshalls and a blingtastic medal! Happy to see water available but not a plastic bottle in sight :)
