Nice little event. Number collection effectively on a village green which probably could have been a bit better thought through given the cold dewy morning leading to numerous complaints of wet feet for runners. Aside from this lovely atmosphere in the town. Very nice to see the whole community coming out for a friendly local event. Nice flat course. Excellent town (village?) centre finish with lots of support.

Very disappointed to be told that they had run out of medals. Being one of a slower runner and yet paying for a medal to be offered a child’s medal is a bit of a joke. Surely the organisers know how many medals to order for the number of entries and counting the number of entrants that had 0.00 against their names (200 +) in my counting, why was there still no medals? I ran Alcester 10k last year & throughly enjoyed it and entered as soon as registration was released. Seems that it was a bit disorganised this year and very doubtful I will want to enter next year. Hopefully, admin will rectify this massive mistake and issue medals to those who didn’t get one!

This was my first 10km run in a long time and it was a lovely run. The stewards were brilliant and the locals came out in support. Unfortunately being a slower runner I did not get a medal (despite paying for one!) as they had run out and then to top it off I had been given the wrong number at registration (despite going down the day before the avoid the queues) so had no time against my name and someone else's name against my time. I was so disappointed as this is a great event and the volunteers are all amazing. Not the best start to my running journey. :(

Nice race although could do with signposts on approach roads towards the car park and more toilets. Also £26 entry then have to pay extra for a medal is a bit steep.

Very dissatisfied that organisers had not ordered enough medals . As a slower runner I wasn’t happy to find that there were no medals left when I and others crossed the finish line. Promised to receive one in the post by RD so hopefully this will happen soon. I await my medal !

I love this event, great atmosphere. The marshals are amazing and the finishline has so many people chearing and clapping. There is also a kids fun run. I'll be back for the 2020 race!
