Massively popular event which I think sold out in 20mins. Online registration seemed slightly random in terms of order you went through queue but myself and friends all got places so can’t complain.
Spectator last year and desperately wanted to take part this year and didn’t disappoint. Rugby HQ great starting point with warmth from elements and lots parking. Bit of cold trek down to start but away promptly for a varied run with great scenery. 2 full laps and further half lap with shingle and a longish hill providing a challenge but the wind was favourable along the flat section through to finish.
Support and marshalls excellent, none more so than the steep climb to finish filled with supporters and adnams staff on the microphone cheering you on.
Excellent goody bag with bottle opener medal and Southwold lovely spot to enjoy rest of day with friendly people and runners swapping stories over a pint and fish and chips.
Will definitely be queing for a place again again next year.
