Such a well organized event. It was really easy to show up and swim with everything taken care of. I had so much fun. While I think the event runs amazingly well, maybe a little more variety of food options at the end would be one area to improve?

A well run and very well organized event! The volunteers were fabulous. The lake was so clear and beautiful. I really enjoyed the course this year. This is such a wonderful event - highly recommend it to anyone on the fence! Just do it!!

Did not like the new starting point for swim, prefer the original start.finish from same beach. The bus drop off meant walking down a gravel pathway, and over the timing belt way ahead of the beach, then hovering around a gravel beach until the actual start time.

Thanks for the great feedback, Jenny! Just to clarify about the start belt, it wasn't actually for timing the start, it was just to let us know that you were swimming. So its placement didn't affect your start time at all. Whether it is placed at the top of the path or the bottom didn't matter. This is the first we've heard about it being a gravel path and beach, but we will definitely check that out for next year.
