As usual, Across The Lake put on a wonderful, well organized event! Thank you!! Nothing that you can do to improve, but I found the water quality was not as clean as the other two ATL swims I did this year (OG, Kelowna and Kalamata). At times there was a strong dead fish odour and near the turnaround buoy (and boat fuelling dock) the smell of fuel was prevalent. Other than that, it was a fun event! Thank you!

Having come from New Zealand for 3 of the Across the Lake swims. I was very impressed with how well run the events were and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The course was easy to navigate and I felt completely safe out on the lake. I was also impressed with the efforts...

My one complaint is that there were boats and seadoo’s ripping back and forth by the swim course. It would have been nice if there was a guide boat out there telling them to stay away as it was very wavy and difficult to swim. Also another buoy on the return track would have been good as it was difficult to tell where to go. A couple porta potties might also be nice. PS I love getting a towel that has the swim name and date on it.

Thanks for the feedback! We actually did have our safety boat on the course that intercepted the sea-doo and turned them away. We'll take your notes about extra buoys and porta potties into our planning for next year.
