A great adventure requires tons of arrangement and support, and Threshold team did a nearly perfect job on it. From the catering, the tents, the toilet/shower facility, drying area, to the pit stop, everything was very well organized. To the whole RAB crew: Thanks for the great journey! By the way, I'm from Hong Kong, I will definitely recommend this event to HK cyclists who would like to challenge themselves.

An incredible event which had been on my bucket list and I’m delighted I did it. My one word of caution would be it is far harder than I expected and I’ve done several IronMen and am a member of a cycle club, so if you are to do it, train beforehand! In all, amazing logistics, brilliant staff, outstanding mechanical support all combined to make an excellent event, which went through stunning scenery.

One of the best, if not the best, organized cycling events that I ever took part in. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone has the best chance of completing the event. Despite the weather being less than ideal, there were smiles all around. Every time I look at my day 5 garden centre socks it brings back so many amazing memories.

I absolutely loved the event- I might even say it was the event of my life. It was so well organised, I was constantly pleasantly surprised. The staff were top notch in every respect and for every part of the event, but were also so positive and friendly and fun- I always looked forward to getting my morning coffee or dropping off my bags as the guys and girls always had some joke and a smile to keep everyone positive. The food was amazing, and I was so surprised at the high level of all facilities- the showers, drying rooms, stretch tent, laundry, bathrooms, etc etc... it's amazing what top quality was done in a middle of the field! And the food catering was better than most of the fancy stuff I eat here in London! I met so many amazing people during this event- I will cherish the memories, the people, and overcoming my own limits for ever. Thank you! And the routes are magical- especially the four days in Scotland!

What a fantastic event. Exhilarating and tiring, but finishing each day was the ultimate reward. All the camp facilities were fantastic - food, toilets showers drying room, physios medics and luggage handlers. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. On the road it was well signposted and well supported with medics, mechanics, safety motorbikes and put stops. Each day isn't easy be everything is done to make it easier to get through each day. Lots of camaraderie between riders and some good public cheers and waves too. Would thoroughly recommend this event to anyone who wants to test themselves but in a well supported environment.

Outstanding. It's not easy. It is long. There are some urban crossings (Bath and Preston particularly busy) But there are so many awesome bridges, moors, valleys, climbs, coasts and more... And the Threshold team work so hard and are so keen and happy to help - they are on the ride with you every pedal stroke of every day. The food, the medics, the Physios, the luggage team, the campsite crew, the toilet cleaners, the shower team,... - the entire team wants to there for you and wants you to finish. 2024 had one of the hardest days ever - freezing cold, rain, hail, ... - the team looked after us, made us laugh, got us to the finish. Your year will have hard days too... But the memories will be of success, fun and laughter. Do it.

What a challenging experience , hugely enjoyable. The organisation behind the scenes of getting 700+ riders (of all levels of capability) is amazing. From the cheery welcome at any of the camps, base or pit stops, to the excellent plenty full food, the can do mechanics, including the always clean and hot shower/toilet facilities. What a logistical achievement- 800 tents up and down everyday, showers, toilets, drying rooms, stretching rooms, base camp - everything thought of. The RAB bubble is strong, everyone (riders and support crew) looking out for each other, no separate groups one large family and having fun too! I would recommend to anyone who wants that unique experience of cycling Britain end to end, however as part of a huge group of riders and super supported . An amazing route (mainly back roads) with amazing scenery and access to areas you’d miss in a car. Also nice touches to welcome the rides eg bagpipes at some of the Scottish pit stops . Having done this 11 years ago too, the formula works, creating an great cycling challenge.

This is an incredible endurance event with over 800 riders taking the start line for 9 stages of over 100 miles to go from Land's End to John O'Groats. The Threshold Team do an amazing job with incredible logistics, amazing food, warm showers, a drying tent and chemical toilets that are not revolting! I was lucky enough not to have to consult the medics or mechanics, but by all accounts they were amazing too! And the ride raised over £1.14m for charities - which is incredible! Threshold really supported women, with a camping area for women and women's toilets with sanitary products at the feed stations and camp-sites. This was much appreciated and really made a difference. That said, there were only 40 women (c.5%) and it seemed that the attrition rate was even higher amongst the women vs the total field (finish results seem to say that 20% of the overall field did not make it to JoG and 33% did not manage to complete every stage within the cutoff). To be fair, the battle with the weather was significant this year and on a number of days the buffeting from the winds made it hard to hold the bike upright - which is often even harder for women due to lower body weight and lower strength. So I would say that the riding is very doable within the timescales if you follow a training plan, the weather can be very against you but with preparation on kit and mindset (and a little luck) is conquerable, and the camping cheek-by-jowl with so many other people and having to manage the queues and logistics for each task in the evening can add exhaustion and jeopardy that makes you want to be able to cycle fast enough to get into the campsite ahead of the rush each night. This will tend to mean putting your head down and pushing, plus fighting for your place in some very shouty and aggressive peletons.

I absolutely loved everything about this 9 day adventure. It was brutally difficult at times but extremely rewarding. The organisation and support was truly 10/10. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is fit enough for the challenge.
