This race is a lovely, relatively flat race. The information before the event was thorough and the support wonderful. This year (2026) the parking was very chaotic...we got there really early so avoided most of that. I do understand that there maybe less places and therefore l...

This race is a lovely, relatively flat race. The information before the event was thorough and the support wonderful. This year (2026) the parking was very chaotic...we got there really early so avoided most of that. I do understand that there maybe less places and therefore less cars in future. It was nice to have an evening race too.

A lot of those that crossed the line early had wandered back into the pathway of those of whom were still running, thus increasing the risk of collision’s and possible injury. It also felt disrespectful to those that were still running. At the finish line people had crowed around...

A lot of those that crossed the line early had wandered back into the pathway of those of whom were still running, thus increasing the risk of collision’s and possible injury. It also felt disrespectful to those that were still running. At the finish line people had crowed around the line meaning those crossing the line ran into a crowd of people.

Came by bike to the event but as parking along the roads had to be careful to avoid car doors opening into cycle path. Discovery centre could be labelled clearer . No internet to get QR code from phone at registration. Otherwise great race. Marshalls really helpful and supp...

I like the start & finish points. But I think a couple points could be improved on. Start area - maybe try and have “time pens” to help get slower people nearer the back to help prevent the first 1-2 corner bottle neck. Finish line / area - if possible more marshalls to help p...

I like the start & finish points. But I think a couple points could be improved on. Start area - maybe try and have “time pens” to help get slower people nearer the back to help prevent the first 1-2 corner bottle neck. Finish line / area - if possible more marshalls to help prevent build up of people / people encroaching onto the course. Aid / water stations - 2 are good, but when it’s hot they run out quick / can’t refill quick enough. Potentially look to add a 3rd, if possible. Finish station area - brilliant !! Medals - I like them, but I’d prefer having just one colour per year. Overall though - great event

This is a fun and friendly event in a fantastic setting with a wide range of participants and lots of encouragement around the course. The course was well marshalled with refreshments and first aid stops at regular intervals and a well-stocked finish line! The only challenges with facilities are due to the location on Dartmoor - it’s a fair walk from parking and there are only a few toilets, but it’s well worth the effort to enjoy the scenery!
