I read a couple of reviews saying the course was flat and good for a PB.. 🤔 not so sure about that.. uphill at start, undulating through laps but on the plus side downhill towards the end although after gathering pace you have to slow to an almost stop to get round the entrance b...

Great course and well marshalled. Having the last 2km downhill helped me ash my PB. The only small improvement I’d make would be to the water station and have either someone handing cups out or bottles so they’re easier to grab as you run past.

This was a really enjoyable event, with great support staff and a good atmosphere. I scored the facilities lower because there were only 6 portaloos provided, which meant a long queue for a quick pre-race wee. Also confusion about parking fees meant some runners like me had already paid the full £6 before we were notified about a discount. Not a big deal, but clearer explanations posted on the parking meters would have easily remedied this.
