A great event as always with excellent support from marshals and all. You should really try this event you won’t be disappointed. And with it all being hosted at the Velopark it’s completely safe and easy to navigate.

I thoroughly enjoy this event. Its accessable to beginers, great marahels, lovely velodrome and will be back. I love that theres a donut at the end and everyone is made to feel wekcome. Plus marshals worked very had even in the wind and rain. There was only one annoyance this year. The run leg was changed last minuite due to the field being too wet. We were emailed a strava link which showed us the new course. In the strava link it showed the new route as being 100% path and due to this I changed my footwear from trail to road shoes. However there was a large section on wet slippy mud and uneven filed/ground. As my road shoes arnt designed for that run style I had no traction and fell/walked slow/felt stressed. I feel this could be a small tweek in the future as I prep for races based on the data given.

Really enjoyed this event despite the rain. Well organised; friendly, encouraging marshalls and a great course for this beginner. We had no problems parking really near to the event and facilities in the leisure centre were great. Would definitely recommend! Thanks!

It would be far better if clear guidelines were communicated to parents in advance rather than comments being made on the day about parents not being allowed in the transition area or on the grass verges. This had not been shared beforehand. I was not causing any obstruction and was one of several parents standing in those areas, yet I was the only person approached and spoken to. This felt unnecessary and inconsistent. The medal was much better this year, thank you!
