Surprised how much I enjoyed the event! 2 laps is not for me, underpasses are not for me... but I had a great time because the volunteers were fantastic, starting outside the stadium was great... and the final lap in the stadium was just top! The medal and the top (although annoyingly having to pay extra is not the best) were just incredible - the theming for this event is just fantastic!

A well organised and run event with a really great and varied route that allowed supporters to see us multiple times. The start and run through central MK was well done with a great atmosphere. Volunteers throughout the whole course were amazing and so encouraging. And the finish experience in the stadium was truly awesome and a standout feature. This was the second time I’ve run in this event and both times it has been one of my favourite events! I would certainly recommend this event.

I think the finisher t shirts and medals should be different for each race. Colours of t shirts would be good. Even change of helpers and being who ran should be different. Newport marathon do it and it’s spot on.

I have been doing this race every year it keeping getting better. I wish the did the 10k on Saturday, the half marathon on Sunday and the marathon on Monday so I could do all 😁

Good event but if you finishing the marathon under 3 hours you are running through the back of the half and marathon runners, runners should be encouraged to run on one side for the path where possible to allow others to past, the faster runners need help from the marshalls to he...

Good event but if you finishing the marathon under 3 hours you are running through the back of the half and marathon runners, runners should be encouraged to run on one side for the path where possible to allow others to past, the faster runners need help from the marshalls to help them get through the slower runners if the two lap course continues to be used. It can be very dangerous as I was running twice the speed of others, I am trying to run through gaps between people and asking people to stay on one side while slower runners are moving unexpectedly across paths, have headphones on so can't hear me, I had several people run in front of me, a few times we were lucky no one got hurt. Marshalls were generally good, I had a photographer stop starting while crossing the road, looking away from the direction the runners, and a photographers bike park up partially blocking a tight turn on the course

Super choice for my 6th marathon race. A smaller event when compared to other UK spring races but with a big heart & great atmosphere. Race day organisation was excellent - so lovely to be able to use the facilities at the stadium before & after the run (a nice change from portaloos). Relatively flat course but the repeated small ups/downs of the underpasses did become challenging towards the end. My only, small negative, was having pre-ordered a size 12 finishers t-shirt, I was disappointed to be told at the finish that they had run out & I was given a men’s medium … as the sizes are marked on your running bibs that shouldn’t be possible. Good photos too & a fun medal ( May the 4th be with you!)

1st marathon in Mk and wow have to say I thoroughly enjoyed ..and enjoyed a PB on thr day will definitely take part in future events...some better snacks at the end would be greatly appreciated

The race and the facilities couldn’t be faulted However the pre paid coach back from the stadium definitely needs to be looked at There were too many people booked on to it with only two mini buses provided After a long wait some people were booking cabs back to the start as they were getting cold The marshals were doing what they could to keep people informed which was appreciated Hopefully this will be sorted out for next year as it’s a lovely event and we are coming back next year
