Okay, I’ll start with the bad bits:

The toilet situation is woeful. I mentioned it last year as well. Ladies & gents share 10 portaloos. Stick out a couple of urinals for the chaps and you’ll instantly just about half the time the lasses have to queue. This is a particular bugbear of mine as, after a radical prostatectomy, when I need to pee, I have to go just about immediately. I ended up going behind the clubhouse as did a raft of others including a good number of ladies.
Put the surname letters higher up so people know which queue to join when collecting race numbers.
Rant over.
Other than the above, I love this event. It was my 1st time last year and I enjoyed it so much I just had to return. Really friendly marshals - perhaps the friendliest - jolly & encouraging. A fantastic course with mixed terrain, no too hilly, but just enough to give you a good workout. Brilliant atmosphere both at the start, on the course and at the finish. I don’t even mind the pinch-points; you expect them when running through the countryside and it gives you an opportunity to have a chat & laugh with your fellow runners.
Definitely back next year if I can stay healthy.
