The event material was a mix of previous years and the current course. With the transition showing the bike going out to the west. There was no diagram of the swim course that would have saved a lot of confussion / questions at race brief. Registration on Saturday didn't have the ankle tags so after queuing to pick up the other bits still had to collect that on Sunday morning. Marshals and event staff were amazing and very supportive as were supports and locals that came out to cheer people along. There were a couple of bits of congestion on the bike with narrow lanes where cars can't pass each other but no major delays or risks. Aid stations - water at the top of the run with a lovely chap with jelly baby and jaffa cakes. Didn't see anything else on offer. No gels / cerial bars. Only saw water at the finish. The medals are a little of an anticlimax - year on the ribon and no distinction of what race you did. Portaloos and toilet block were good, and no massive queues which was a surprise. Due to the wind camping on the beach was not an option - sheltering under the trees at the back of the grass. Lots of load people opening and closing doors and vans until 11pm. But great to be 30 seconds from the start especially with a 7am swim start. Would I do it again. Yes, especially now I know the route. Although the old bike route hill up to Streete I think will be tougher. The run route isn't very interesting but at least it comes up at 5.9 miles instead of 6.2!

A really well run and accessible race. Felt safe despite poor sea conditions, the course was well marked and marshalled. The logistics, staff, and transition areas were excellent, and overall a really well run and enjoyable event in an absolutely stunning location. 2026 was a tricky year due to the weather, and we could have done with a bit more comms re. the swim and conditions, but this is my only minor gripe!

This was put first Dartmouth Tri and we had a wonderful day. Well organised both pre and post, excellent set up of transitions, safety volunteers on the water deserve medals! Given a lot of work went into the event and v early start, our thanks to the whole Sportiva crew. Thank you, and will defiantly be with you next year.
