Setting off at midday on a Sunday meaning traffic was manic; angry cars, clogged up junctions, just generally unsafe in my opinion. If you are sending people out on the bike at this time, it needs to have some very quiet roads, or the possibility of partial closures.
Tough run with 4 sets of stairs included, up and down on slippy surfaces.
The marshalls on pool-side at the start were having a power trip, making people uncomfortable and upset when just wanting to know about the delays, or try to listen to the briefing. I saw several instances of people being singled out to answer specific questions contained in the briefing given "to make sure they'd listened", but this came across as aggressive, unnecessary and bullying behaviour. I would recommend Wilmslow Triathlon Club to have someone more empathetic running the pool-side, if there are to be issues again with timings.
Overall, I will not be coming back any time soon.
