Great event, very well organized, good communication, great marshalling around the course, would recommend this race! Could do with a couple more toilets but that goes for most races. As also goes for most races why do the slower waves start first? This just leads to congestion on the bike with faster rider stuck behind cars that are stuck behind the slower athletes. This creates dangerous and frustrating situations. Faster waves start first, problem solved.

loved it was Free Parking, easy registration, and a great start time of 9 am were a bonus, especially for those travelling over an 1 hr away. More toilets would have been available; maybe a food van might have gone down well afterwards.

Really great Race! The 7 laps could have done with a bit of variation but not the end of the world as only 10k. Need disabled carparking for spectators, was told to get there before half 8, we did and they couldnt park in a disabled area despite emailing before event. my disabled gran had to walk too far. Selling great coffee but with no bins to put cups. Just a few very small niggly bits but the race was great and would deffo do it again but maybe come with just the wife and not bring lots of support as it wasnt really set up for that. 4 out of 5 and could easily be a 5 with a few very minor adjustments. 1st triathlon, i know what to expect now and hopefully will go back next year to beat my time! Great medal too!

The staff at this event were great and it’s a lovely bike course. The swim was well marked with a big safety team but there were a LOT of weeds which slowed me down. 7 laps on the run felt very repetitive.
