A great new venue for Big Bear's 6 hour challenges. Bassed near Market Harborough, next to a local brewery (Braybrooke Taproom) with cafe and toilets. For its ignogural run, it rained, quite a lot! The laps were approximately 3.3 miles long out and back along the lovely Griffin Trail and Brampton Valley Way. There were a couple of cheeky little hills and a lovely bit along a disused railway. Everyone who completed at least one lap received a medal (or planted a tree). t was lovely to see friends passing the other way at regular intervals and to encourage each other. There was a table to leave one's own snacks and drinks (handy if you're GF) but also plenty of drinks (cupless) including real Coke and snacks catering for allergies where possible. The volunteers were as always super supportive and encouraging. Paul's races are very much focused on enjoyment and incredibly inclusive. This course was not exception. Great for speedies and course PBs and great for run/walkers as they never felt they were left behind or held anyone up. Can we have more runs at this venue please?
