Great Owl put on a fantastic ultra based on the Leeds Country Way. The route is a mix of different trails and takes in an awesome tour through the country side round Leeds. The event is excellent - friendly start and finish, simple but perfect checkpoints / aid stops with a nice selection of snacks and water. Homemade chilli and a beer at the finish - definitely needed and much appreciated! These events are 'no fuss' and exactly what trail / ultra running should be - friendly people, great scenery and low impact on the environment. See you again soon!

What a weekend! Everything about it made it a real winter ultra experience. Both days were excellently organised. Clear gpx file and LCW signs on route. Lovely check points with friendly marshalls, drinks snd snacks en route. Baggage drops mid point and at dnd of each day. Snow, ice, wind, rain and blue skys throughout the weekend abd beautiful scenary on the trails. Always wonderful home made food at the end and a friendly bunch of crew and runners to meet you. Would recommend! ⭐️🌟⭐️
