What an amazing event!! I took part in my first ever Big Bear event- the Squirrel challenge. The course was visible on a video and through their social media which was very helpful. I collected my number from in the tent which had many flags around it so was easy to see plus they send you an email with directions to the start and parking details. We had a briefing and off we went- follow the red arrows and the marshals on the first few laps. I dipped into the finish each time where they call out your name out and cheer you on and then I continued. There was a variety of snacks and different drinks to try if you wanted which would be great for training. The toilets were on the course which was helpful for all! I had an amazing medal after and loads of badges to celebrate so many achievements! It was so well organised, directed, great photos, great support of the team, and you can finish when you want! 1 lap in or 6h later! Really helped with long distance marathon training and just to be sociable!

Amazing event as always with Big Bear, my first time at the daventry course and what a brilliant route, aid station had lots of variety of snacks - and the volunteers are outstanding everyone is so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble - really feels like being surroun...

Squirrel run was fantastic from start to finish! All the staff were very helpful, friendly and supportive at all times- always smiling and cheering you on by name as you passed through the check point which was such a lovely heartwarming personal touch to the experience. The aid station was stocked really well with options for all dietary requirements- loved my vegan sweeties! Rewarded at the end with a cold drink and a beautiful medal, badges and patch! And even more snacks haha. Photo boards for selfies were a nice touch too. Couldn’t have had a better event planned by these guys- would recommend to anyone!
