after swimming ok I dreaded walking up the blue 'carpet'. I thought I might have to crawl, a simple handrail or a friendly arm would have made a big difference. I bet for you tri athletes that is unimaginable!
Having the bag drop near the water would also help, by the time I reached my bag with towel and hot coffee in it I could hardly walk and I was shivering but in the water I was warm without a wetsuit. You see I walk about 1mile/hr but can swim faster! Therefore in a swim suit I was bloody cold with no heat generation from excercise.
Lastly some form of bench/seat to use whilst dressing especially putting on my compression socks would have been a bonus.
However cant wait till next year! From my end I will bring two bags, one for the bag drop and another with just a towel, chocolate, banana, robe, socks and coffee in beside the water. That coupled with swallowing my pride and crawling up the carpet should do the trick.

Thanks for the feedback Paul. We'll have a look at moving the bag drop & hot drinks nearer the finish next year.
