To make a long story short, I participated in the T100 Sprint. It was my first triathlon, and I flew in from another country.. incredibly excited. Until I finished and wanted to check my results. NO. FINISH. TIME. Apparently, I didn't finish the run. How the fuck is that even possible when I literally crossed the finish line? My Garmin proves I did... I finished the sprint and even received a medal. Of course, it's not the end of the world. I got my medal and I know I finished. But still... T100 is telling me to contact Sportstats, which is honestly weird. I'm pretty sure if the "fast" participants had been affected, this would've been sorted out ASAP instead of sending everyone the same copy paste email telling us to contact Sportstats ourselves. Sportstats is of course not replying to the emails sent by participants that were affecteed. And it's not like this only happened to a handful of people. There are literally more than 15 pages (https://sportstats.one/event/t100-triathlon-world-tour-london-uk/leaderboard/145707) of participants without finish times if you look at the results. This isn't an isolated issue which means T100 should take responsibility instead of passing the problem on. It's a shame, because the event itself was actually fun. Would I recommend it? Big fat NO.

Good event but there were a couple of logistical hiccups that could be fine-tuned for future races.

The course was good for participants/racers but it was the worse course Ive been to yet for spectators... All the people whom supported us and made it fun/possible/likely that we would go to the event by driving us there and sharing hotel rooms etc... Were denied the opportunity to watch the racers they were supporting. Except at the start site[swim] it was impossible to traverse the site 1] a MASSIVE shopping centre was in the way. 2] No advice was given upon where to view cycling/running. 3] I started to walk to 'outside' in the right direction I knew as I had just finished the course- to watch my sister do her first triathlon- and it took 15 minutes to get to any outside opening. There was no easy access to viewing spaces. Very frustrating. To compound this - the elite race appeared to take place on another track entirely [ not my previous experience -Nottingham/Roker park] Again it was impossible to follow as a spectator. I noted the only option was another far point of entry whereby you could watch swim then walk away to the road race p but this was inaccessible to me from the front of ExCel. At one point I saw a sign saying 'Cycle viewpoint' but another man told me 'It isnt.' simple sentence. Its for the T100 tomorrow. This was my first chance to support the Olympic heroes and I also feel for them that they were not given the opportunity to feel our love and appreciation to them personally as true fans. Sitting inside a warehouse in a humid heat wave is by no means attractive for an outdoor event.
