Main problem for me was catching up with the slower riders from shorter distances, who didn't have the confidence to ride fast. Not normally a problem, but non-overtaking cars forced everyone down to the slow riders speed. It might work better to do the short loop first, then we'd be on our own for much of the bigger loop?

Good location , bike route good , swim lake good Run between the transition wasn’t the end of the world but found the directions in that area bad , overall transition directions confusing , not good when tired and trying hard for times

The worst organised race i have ever done. Marshals were friendly but often clueless. Congestion was an issue in places- bordered on dangerous at times. Organisers talked about no littering yet didn't have a single rubbish bin or bin bag at the race start/ lake. Aquabike transition very poor- just a rack in a sandy pit with no arrangements for clothes bag drop. No chance to do a flying mount as you have to run over sand, gravel and rocks to get from the aquabike transition to mount line. And pre race maps and instructions could have been clearer, especially given the shortage of marshals at junctions (which again, felt dangerous at times). If you want a scenic leisurely event then this could be fun, but if you actually want to race then i would avoid, especially if you are doing aquabike which felt like a real afterthought here.

A very well organised event. The marshalls were helpful and friendly. The bike route was well marked with marshalls at every major junction. Impossible to get lost. Kelly and her team were available to chat through any last minute issues regarding transition which was very reassuring. Presentation for the winners was very timely with little waiting around. Plenty of space for tents/camper vans and use of facilities. Great to have a hot food/coffee van on site during the event. Super encouragement from supporters and having your name on the bib gave them a name to shout which was uplifting. Recommended for all levels of experience.

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere, easy check in and bike racking. A reminder about needing trainers and a towel for the run from the swim to the transition would have helped! Also could the swim time not stop when you get out of the water? Apart from that a great event, although it's always soul-destroying when all the finishers from the shorter events are walking around with medals while you are just starting the run, but I guess it's hard to avoid that!

Having distances share the courses in opposite directions made it congested and at time, dangerous. However, I really enjoyed the event and I will do one of your events again.

Really good event, first ever middle distance triathlon and the marshalls were very supportive, especially in transition and on the running water stations, giving lots of motivation and encouragement. Only down side is the cut off time of 15:00, i returned just after 14:00 and was unable to get a coffee as the stall was shut. We stayed to cheer on the last people coming and noticed before the last runners, the music was turned off and the even being packed dow, so we cheered even louder for them. It seems a shame for the participants who are slower (yet still in the cut off time) the atmosphere was not there for them. Maybe it would be good to keep all up and running until the cut off time. However this was an amazing day, and everyone was so friendly, would recommend to others!

Hi. The music was not cut off for the last person. These are our favourite finishers. Our final person was cheered in by the whole team, we are the champions blasted loud on the speaker and they were presented a bottle of bubbly. Bike racking for the sprint and standard distance was taken down due to needed to save time as we have to give the venue back but the whole finish line etc is never packed away until our final finisher even after the cut off time.

The kind and thoughtful marshals also made it so lovely as well. Thank you so much, Kelly, Jen, and Emma!
