Sprint Distance - Very good overall. The finish and transition area was great and very nicely layed out. I think a few more signs at the end of the bike could of helped. I can imagine though if you had to do multiple laps it might get confusing

I've only started /done a few events but can say this one was terrific. Everything seemed really well organised and ran smoothly even though my own preparation wasn't! All the staff, helpers, marshalls were really welcoming and encouraging - it was great getting a cheer/clap at the various points on the course. Really enjoyed the swim venue - a beautiful spot and smoother water than the indoor pool I normally use. Bike course was open roads but virtually no traffic and marshalls on all the turns so never any doubt about the route. Good range of free post race snacks was unexpected but very welcome. All in all couldn't really ask for much more.

My first 'challenging events' race, and it was a great race. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. I arrived and collected the race pack in the morning with no queues or hindrance. Ellingham Lake is a great swim venue with calm water and easy to navigate. The bike course was well signposted and a beautiful course around the New Forest. The last section back to the transition was quite busy with other cyclists, cars and then runners as you got closer to the finish. The road surface here was a bit bumpy too, but otherwise good elsewhere. The run course is a two-loop course involving a little hill. Overall, I would highly recommend - a great course and well organised.

This was my first tri back after a couple of years and so glad I chose this one! Well organised, great comms ahead of the event and well run throughout. We camped on site overnight and everything from registration to the finish line ran smoothly. Fab event, will be back!

My 3rd year at this event and I loved it. Well organised, great events team, clear instructions, beautiful course. Extra run from lake to T1 adds a fun twist! Water was murky but clear. Signposts on the route clear. Thanks team! Hopefully I’ll be back next year!
