I would not return, I know this was a trail run but the description of the course was inaccurate. Most of the trail was across unkept overgrown farm land with dangerous pot holes, meaning even during downhills it felt not worth the risk to pick up speed. All the course was so uneven. The course was very hilly, we had intense fog and very small flags to follow. There was a bottleneck through a gate at the beginning. Photo of track at finish line on website completely inaccurate representation of course you need more main course photos so people know what they will be running on.

I love this event it’s the second time I’ve taken part in the holdenby canicross with my little terrier midge , despite dense fog everything was so well organised. All marshals were super supportive and friendly, the course was fun and the dogs love it!

Can’t wait to return for this canicross event next year. Beautiful estate and farmland, well organised, super friendly registration area - thanks for the fuss and attention my dog received. Windy and muddy on the day but all part of the fun!

A proper trail event – hills, mud, grass and gravel. Glad I opted for the 5k but the challenge of attempting it at speed made for a very enjoyable event. If you like proper trail running, this is a great event.
