First time attending, car park was fine, arrived while there were still spaces left. The sign in bit was great for 5km, the 10km had loads of runners so was obviously more busier. Helped accommodate a friend who had forgot a ticket and swapped for someone that didn't come to event. The pacers is a fab idea especially the 70 or 75mins if I do 10km next year! Fab cakes and choices, brilliant medals. All volunteers massively helped keep me going as running is new to me after a long break so thank you for all the cheers. Medal and cake were fab afterwards!

I’ve completed four 10k races this year, and as a fairly new runner, this being my first year racing, the Mallard Cake Dash really stood out! It was my first Trident event, and I can honestly say it’s been my favourite race so far. From parking the car to enjoying the cake at the finish, everything was incredibly well organised. The atmosphere throughout the event was fantastic! Friendly, fun, and really motivating. The warm up was a brilliant touch and something I haven’t experienced at other races. The marshals were wonderfully supportive and full of enthusiasm, and the course itself was beautiful, easy to follow, and spotless. I’ll definitely be back next year!

Only my second race but had a good time and felt it was well organised, good comms and ran smoothly. The only downsides were the parking situation (parking was full so people were parking along the road) and the toilets (don't think I've ever been in a longer queue for a portaloo!). Also a little confusion over the directions to get there; told to avoid a certain road, but actually you still had to use that road from the other direction. Spoke to multiple people who were as confused by this as I was ! But overall I had fun and will probably book again next year.

It is definatly for all levels and the volunteers cheering me on from the sides made me feel so welcomed as a new participant especially i wasn't expecting that kind of positive support from the staff during the race, it definalty gave me a boost during the race and led me on to do a great time!! I ran with a friend , this was her first ever race . She unfortunately lost her race bib on the way round so she didn’t get a mention over the finish line and I felt really gutted that she wouldn’t get on the results. I mentioned the loss of the bib to Ian, who then spoke to Ben, they realised that a Marshall had handed in the bib, and within 10 minutes it was all sorted and Nicky appeared on the results. Huge thanks for sorting it, much appreciated. Oh and the cake was lovely too! Definitely recommend this event

A lovely , friendly event through woods and quiet roads. Very well organised and the cake and tea after was brilliant !!! Will be doing this one again. Great to have pacers with t-shirts which were easy to spot and every 5 mins for all abilities

A really enjoyable event and lovely cake! The Marshalls were very friendly and helpful and the course was great. An extra water station on the 10k route would have been good and more toilet facilities needed at the course start/finish.
